True Story of the Day: Award-winning comic book artist Paul Maybury once worked at Whole Foods, where he would exercise his budding talents on store signage. Occasionally, his signs would offend patrons, but the one above of Mr. T apparently went too far, and got him “pushed out”:

I apparently offended a lot of people with it. Once older white lady didn’t like the angry black man yelling at her. And a Vegan didn’t like that Mr. T. pitied her because she wouldn’t eat meat.
That’s a true story.

Whole Foods’ loss is the comic book world’s gain.

Wikipedia describes Freemasonry as the following; “Freemasonry uses the metaphors of operative stonemasons’ tools and implements, against the allegorical backdrop of the building of King Solomon’s Temple, to convey what has been described by both Masons and critics as “a system of morality veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols.”

Alert the science community because I think I’ve figured out autism.

Cannotunsee: Tyler Durden’s (Brad Pitt) clothes in the movie Fight Club are an imprint in the narrators (Ed Norton) mind from the character Louis Winthorpe III (Dan Aykroyd) in the movie Trading Places.
(Thanks Zachary)
Note from Ron: I said “Holy shit!” a few times outloud when I saw this. Amazing.

I post it, 1 note.
Ron posts it, 330 notes.
This must be what Ross Perot felt like on election day.
If anything, the costume being in Fight Club was a subtle nod to the main plot device.
